All pelargonium lovers are recommended to visit the Pelargonium Greenhouse in Vinslöv. It has over 700 different varieties on display and for sale. Snack on elderberry waffles with elderberry jam in the adjacent Flädergården farm, and purchase some of the farm’s delicacies to bring home. On some Sundays, the Scanian specialty, egg cake, pork and lingonberries, is served.

Hembygdsparken (the Homestead Park) in central Hässleholm is a place of fun and relaxation. Leave the children to enjoy the playground for a while and feed the ducks. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a waffle from the cosy coffee cottage. The park has many historical buildings, and the famous patinated Snapphanen bronze statue. During the summer, the park comes alive with concerts and theatre.

The Hovdala park and gardens is an important part of the castle’s cultural heritage. Old trees, dry moats and dry-stone walls gives the place a special atmosphere. Admire the kitchen garden, which is full of flowers and vegetables, grown primarily from seed in the greenhouse or directly in the soil. Outside the beautiful Orangery from the end of the 18th century, you can admire the rare bladdernut tree, Staphylea pinnata or take a walk to the engagement trees that have stood intertwined since time immemorial. With a bit of luck, Sigvard will be there and cutting the grass with his horse-drawn lawn mower. The park and gardens are open all year round with free entrance.
